When you arrive, our team will get you set up with a life jacket and run through a quick briefing on how the flyboard works – how to balance, how to control your height, and what to do if you fall (which is totally fine and part of the fun). The whole briefing is relaxed and friendly – we’ve done this with hundreds of first-timers and we know how to explain it in a way that actually makes sense.
You’ll then get into the water and the instructor will help you strap into the flyboard. Once everything’s in place, the jets start and up you go.
Most people fall a few times in the first couple of minutes – that’s completely normal and honestly part of what makes it fun. Once you find your balance, something clicks, and suddenly you’re hovering above the water thinking “I’m actually doing this.” For some people, that moment takes 2 minutes. For others it takes a bit longer. Either way, our instructors are patient and encouraging the whole way through.
